The top four things to think about (in our humble opinion) are seating, mirrors, decorative accessories and lighting. Here are a few of our beauty salon favourites and some advice for decorating yours.
The number one rule for your salon is to have comfortable seating, as that’s where your clients will be spending lots of time. Our Louis chairs are ideal in your waiting area, or use them either side of your nail bar. These vintage style chairs look glamorous and will add some sparkle to your salon, as well as being very comfortable Another option in your waiting room is a chaise or sofa. Our Union Jack chaise longue has lots of personality and is fantastic to create a quirky look
Plenty of Mirrors
Mirrors in your salon will create a light and spacious atmosphere, and they are very important for clients to be able to see their reflection. Our white oval Sonja mirror would be fantastic in your salon, with it’s simple cream colour and ornate design. To jam even more mirror into your space, try a leaner mirror in your reception area. To stop your salon looking too clinical a vintage style mirror or ornate mirror can add personality.
Make sure your salon is well lit so your clients can see themselves in a flattering light. A large chandelier in the centre of the room will cast a sophisticated light throughout your salon. Add some quirky glamour with these grey feather lamps on your reception desk.
Warm and Welcoming Accessories
Once you have mirrors, seating and lighting sorted it’s time to give the final touches. A few key decorative pieces will liven up your salon. Our giant aluminium scissors wall hanging is perfect for your salon! They look excellent hung either side of a mirror, see below. They would look fantastic hung behind your reception desk. To add a touch of eastern spirituality and calm how about our white buddha head statue?
