5 Ideas to Brighten Your Home this Winter

The clocks have gone back and it’s almost dark by the time we’ve finished our lunch. Which can be mildly depressing, but if you look on the bright side it gives you the chance to switch on all your fabulous lighting.

In fact, there really isn’t a better time of year for being able to set the mood in your home with unique lighting ideas and glamorous lamps.

Let’s look at 5 ways we can help you bring some warmth into your home this winter.

1) Gorgeous Chandelier Table Lamp

Add some style and sophistication to a living or dining room. In all honesty these chandelier lamps could be used in pretty much any room in the house; a bedroom, reception room, hallways. You name it, let your imagination run wild.

With their antique white frame and crystal effect beads and droplets, they’d even make a great addition to a boutique hotel or spa.

2) Crushed Glass Table Lamp

A lovely blue table lamp with a mesmerising crushed glass mosaic pattern to the oval body of the lamp. Comes with a matching handmade aqua blue silk shade. These lamps look even better in person and make a great pair either side of a sofa.

If you’re considering snapping them up I’d be be quick, we recently sold two to the Eastenders team. Get hold of them now before they get noticed nationwide!

 3) Great Value Glamorous Chandelier

At just £80.00 this three branch glass crystal chandelier is an affordable way to bring some glamour and glitz to your home.

Light up a room in style with this fantastic chandelier, featuring an antique white crackle glaze finish, decorative cut glass, crystal centre piece and a single cut glass crystal ball hanging beneath the base.

Each arm has candle bulb fixings complete with dripping wax effect.

4) Industrial Silver Basket Lamp Shade

For something a bit different why not kick out the boring cream lamp shades and go for an industrial themed basket lamp shade. The silver basket not only looks frankly awesome but also creates a unique shadow effect on the walls and ceiling.

The light shade is ideal for a loft conversion, for use over a breakfast bar or in a funky conservatory. It comes with a ceiling rose and the silver link chain can be cut to ensure it is the perfect length for use in your home.

5) WOW! Factor Chandelier for Low Ceilings

If you thought you’d never be able to have a chandelier hanging over your dining table, think again.

This is a stunning shallow sitting chandelier for those seeking the wow factor but lacking high ceilings for a traditional chandelier. Pictured is our luxurious six branch chandelier, but the design is also available in eight or twelve branch versions.

Finished with an antique crackle glaze and adorned with sparkling crystal beads and beautiful detailing. These chandeliers represent outstanding value and are perfect for modern homes with low ceilings.

How will you light up the dark this winter?
